Ariel Powers: Bass Guitar, Vocals
Having been raised by musicians, Ariel began playing and singing in various bands in New York at the age of 15. Originally a keyboard player she began to play bass at age 23 and has played both instruments in an extensive musical career. She has performed in multiple wedding, top 40, rock and roll and original bands. She has toured with country singer Eddie Arnold as well as with many bands performing shows. In the late 1980's and in the 1990's while continuing to perform live she worked for several jingle houses as well as for multiple advertising agencies as a musician and writer creating commercial jingles airing on National TV. She also worked with several production companies creating Dance music that received radio airplay and charted in Billboard.
Always interested in learning and expanding her abilities she became interested in medicine. She relocated to South Florida where she could pursue both careers. She played with the Fabulons for many years as their bass player while transitioning to medicine. The transition was successful and in addition to her musical career she is a Physician Assistant with a Masters in Medical Science currently working in a large dermatology practice treating skin cancer and multiple skin conditions. She is now performing as a member of After Midnight and enjoys playing with the band.
