Steve Krupp: Keyboards, Saxophone, Vocals

Steve started playing the piano at the age of 5, taught by his Father and Mother who were both solo keyboard playing musicians.  He was already out playing and singing in upstate NY Catskill Mountains hotels at age 16. “Once I met the ‘Older’ musicians in the show band, I was hooked, I wanted to play Jazz like them”.  Steve has played in rock bands (“The Point” Brooklyn, NY), wedding bands, stage bands, show bands, etc.  Steve moved to Florida in the late 80’s and went to work on Various Carnival Cruise ships playing as a solo performer in the Piano Bars on the ships and then settled into a busy wedding band in South Florida (Music Associates), where he started playing Sax and Flute (leftover skills from High School). During that period he was also the Supervisor of the Technical training department for Samsung Telecommunications America and started a family. After retiring from many years of playing weddings, cruise ships, and corporate functions in the following decade, Steve settled into tuning pianos here in South Florida, playing cocktail and dinner parties on acoustic piano at various hotels and country clubs and building data/telephony networks, servers and workstations etc.  He is still tuning pianos and you can book an appointment to get yours tuned at pianist-tuner.com

"Peter King was one of my first computer clients many years ago and we became friends once we discovered a mutual love of music and being musicians”, he recently coaxed Steve out of musical retirement and into AM12.  “I guess now I’m riding with the King”, The rest, as they say is History, - in the making!
